I've been pretty absent as of late. Life just gets in the way, but I am happy to say I'll be drawing more often. Currently I'm exploring what I never thought I could ever attempt. So far results have been positive much to my surprise. Watching other artists draw really helps. I've learned a lot from others and it has given me the confidence to take on things like faces *gasp*. Also,  seeing the different personal styles really opens up your world to the different tools and techniques. As it stands now I still do not have the proper equipment to attempt digital drawing as I am not fond of drawing with an old tablet that is just slow and offset

Well it looks like i did it again! I have abandoned the Mario and friends sketch i was working on. And i don't know why i do it every time i start something awesome. If i don't have a deadline to finish a project i usually end up not finishing it. -_- Why do i do this? Usually when i actually finish something it is wayyyy to big to scan and difficult to photograph. Reminds me i never did get around to photographing that giant ink wash painting with Link chilling in the grass next to supposedly me  i did as a final project for my into figure drawing class, and Chrono Trigger battle with Mangus inspired volleyball game match done in chalk paste

so i finally decided to pull out this abandoned project i worked on for a night and then put it way for 3 months. And i'm happy to say i got a lot done today. Mario and his enemies, so far so good. can't wait to be done and ink it up and hopefully scan the sucker before i do any shading. That way i can provide line art and attempt to digitally color it because i don't want to screw up my only hard copy. Kind of lame that i misplaced my original source of inspiration took an entire night just to figure out what to add and get decent quality sources for visual aid. well i'm beat and hitting the hay soon.
